Speaking of the video, Camille enthuses: “I am so happy with the video. It’s super artsy and cool”.

Leave it Alone was released on 27th September 2024 and is the first to be taken from the upcoming album Shadows & Lines which is slated for delivery towards the end of the year. In this album, Camille continues her quest to write the “perfect pop song” in her own unique style – a journey that may never end but one she is more than happy to pursue for life. Her music carries the heart and soul of someone who’s lived through many worlds, with lyrics that capture the complexity of human emotions and melodies that stay with you long after the song ends.

Born on a Canadian military base in Germany but raised amidst the rugged beauty of Vancouver Island, and various locations around the world, Camille Miller is a singer-songwriter whose music draws from a lifetime of diverse experiences and eclectic influences. Now based in Lisbon, Portugal, Camille Miller’s journey into music began early, surrounded by her mother’s extensive soul and ‘70s pop record collection. Childhood afternoons were spent gazing at Carole King’s Tapestry album cover while absorbing the sounds of Aretha Franklin, Jackson 5, and Nina Simone, setting the stage for her lifelong love affair with music.

From the moment she learned to sing Bay City Rollers’ Saturday Night and devoured the Fame soundtrack as a kid, Camille Miller knew she was destined for the stage. Clarinet lessons and a stint in the Canadian Military Marching Band saw her hone her craft further, but it wasn’t until picking up the guitar and discovering the likes of Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, and Queen that she began to carve out her own path as a songwriter and she hasn’t looked back.
