Trio from Ipswich see off stiff competition to claim the opening slot on Friday 3rd June 2022
From 150 applications received since November last year, down to 12 finalists, who all took part in special interview shows on ERB Radio, the competition to open the ERB Stage at the 7th Breaking Bands Festival has been a close one.
With the winner decided entirely by the public and almost 1000 votes coming in via the STMS app, Writer and ERB Radio presenter Mike Ward was tasked with giving Kailan, Sam and Wade from Tempus Frayed the very good news that they had come out on top, and they couldn’t have been happier!
With the Dragon Music Stage on Wednesday, Hot From The Forge Stage on Thursday, and the Support The Music Scene Stage running in conjunction with the ERB Stage across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Breaking Bands Festival is going to be the place to be from the 1st to 5th June.
Tempus Frayed will be in very good company as Broken Empire and The Big Dirty have also recently been added to the bill, alongside Mad Haven, A Ritual Spirit, Circus 66, Nocturne Wulf and Unknown Refuge. The sheer amount of incredible emerging talent is enough to make your mouth water.
