The festival team have been working tirelessly for the last 6 months behind the scenes getting prepared for the first ever STMS Music & Beer Festival taking place 5-7th August 2022 and have a number of announcements.
Firstly, we are thrilled to announce that the STMS Music & Beer Festival will be held at Umberslade Estate in Tanworth-in-Arden, near Birmingham. The site has amazed the team and ticked a lot of boxes in what they were looking for in a long term festival venue of this size, including a huge camping area, glamping and electric hook up campervan area, shower blocks and toilets, a fantastic event arena, room for a great sized trader market, bars, a wellbeing space and so much more.
Secondly, it is time to complete the line up, so let’s get this show on the road!
Saturday night gets crazy as we invite UK & Spanish rockers STOP STOP to the festival as our sub headliners. This talented trio will bring brilliant showmanship to an already fantastic Saturday night lineup. You won’t want to miss this unique and compelling force of today’s rock scene.
Also added to the Saturday line up is BAD DAY, an exciting, fresh rock ‘n’ roll band that exploded onto the scene in 2017 and have been astounding audiences ever since. The energy, charisma and musicianship blends into one volcanic performance that you’ll not forget!
On Sunday we will be opening up with THE HOT ONE TWO, a five-piece classic rock outfit with a modern attitude and incredible stage presence – be sure to catch their live show as we kick off Sunday’s festivities in style.
High energy North-East UK rock band, TWISTER will be bursting onto the STMS stage on Sunday with their soaring guitars and unbeatable melodies. Pushing the limits of everything they do, Twister are breaking down walls and knocking at your door!
Also added to a line-up already absolutely brimming with talent is DAXX & ROXANE, a full-throttle four-piece rock ’n’ roll band originating from Switzerland, now based in the UK. Citing Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Mötley Crüe as key influences, it’s no wonder that Kerrang! Magazine has hailed them as “tooth-and-nail, testosterone-powered rock.”
Rounding off this half dozen of awesome is London rockers THE DUST CODA. This is a band who have thundered into the New Wave Of Classic Rock scene with enticingly unforgettable riffs, gravel-soaked vocal soul and sheer swagger. Sleek yet hard-hitting rock ’n’ roll rooted in blues soul, The Dust Coda clutch the echoes of rock ’n’ roll’s most beloved household names, from the pure, raw poetry of Led Zeppelin to the nasty muscle of Guns N’ Roses, and bring them kicking and screaming into the 21st century.
There is also limited glamping with private toilets and showers! Prices are just £250 for up to 6 people per glamping pod which are all set up and fully furnished (just bring a sleeping bag) so you can spend less time setting up and more time rocking out!
The final part of this bumper announcement is that due to the new site and additions to the line-up we are extending the deposit scheme until 1st February 2022, whereby you can pay just £10 now to secure your ticket and then pay the balance by 31st March 2022. Prices for tickets are still at the early bird price of £60 for the full weekend but only for a limited time. There’s ample free parking, free camping, free hot showers and absolutely zero booking fee.
STMS Music & Beer Festival will be offering a COVID-19 aware environment throughout the weekend in line with guidance from the health authority. The festival also guarantees in the event of a postponed festival due to the global pandemic, tickets will be rolled over automatically to 2023 or a refund will be offered to those who request it.
