The Darkness Feels Different is the latest track from the bands recently released EP The Art of Suffering to get the video treatment.
Speaking of the track, the band state: “I have more than a little misanthrope to my psyche, and this song plays into that. Depression-fuelled anger is a hard thing to shift, and it gets even harder to shake off after the nights get darker.”
“This song actually started its life back when we were writing the acoustic Trauma EP, but it always felt like it needed to be louder so we shelved it for a while. We brought it back out when writing this EP, added a f*ck tonne of distortion.”
“Lyrically it goes all the way back to my teens and twenties, that time when you’re so desperate for people to like you that you’ll devote time to literally anyone who will give you the time of day. And inevitably that leads you to all the wrong types of people. Eventually you find yourself hating them, and yourself, more than any of it is worth”
