For the third year in a row, Caine are being considered for the prestigious Grammy Awards! Space Within A Space is the nu-core quartet’s 10th single release and is being considered for two Grammy Awards – Best Rock Song and Best Metal Performance!
The track officially released on Friday 30th September and the video is officially released tomorrow, but the band wanted to share it here first.
The band say: “Space Within A Space is something a little different from our normal high energy releases but possibly one of the most personal and emotion filled songs we’ve released so far.”
Seamlessly blending Metal, Pop-Punk and London HipHop to produce their own masterful brand of ‘Nu-Core’, Caine may have begun life as a bedroom project a few months into 2019, but when vocalist James Sanger-Brown and bass player Josh Bates joined guitarist Dan ‘Rev’ Hicks that summer, it quickly turned into an earnest undertaking. After securing their debut festival slot at Breaking Bands Festival and support slots with emerging rock bands such as Graces Collide in their inaugural year, the band hit the studio hard and has released a steady stream of infectious singles every 2-3 months, beginning with November 2019’s debut Get Up 42.
Until now, two of Caine’s singles had been Grammy considered; 2020’s Another Light was under consideration for no less than five awards including Best Metal Performance and Best Rock Song, and the band’s work had a light shone on it for the second year in succession, with consideration being given to 2021’s Gaslight!Gaslight! in the Best Producer and Best Rock Performance categories in the esteemed awards. Now, for the third year in a row, the talented bunch have done it again, with Space Within A Space. 2022 has been a fantastic year so far for the hard-working lads, which has so far seen new drummer Connor Byrne get stuck in, and the band get themselves and their infectious music in front of new audiences at festivals such as Breaking Bands, Uprising and Hammerdown.
Coming up, the band are part of a triple header at Waterbear, Brighton on 28th October, with full details yet to be announced, and are also taking part in Camden Rocks Halloween Bonanza at The Underworld on 29th October (tickets)
