Glitter Kick premiere the video for ‘Go Go Bethlehem’

ERB are getting festive as we premiere the video for Glitter Kick’s latest single Go Go Bethlehem..

Watch the video exclusively below.

Speaking of the video, the band state: “We shot Go Go Bethlehem guerrilla style at Covent Garden Piazza. It was cheaper than building the set ourselves and amongst other props we used umbrellas, a biscuit tin drum kit and a nuns outfit. We did it very late at night so it looks deserted. It was absolutely p**ing down! The security called the police and Greg the guitarist fell over and broke his wrist!”

The track itself has an even more peculiar origin story, with guitarist Greg Radcliffe stating: “I was sitting at Ginos Café opposite Marylebone station. There’s a bookies next door. Someone had left a newspaper on the table open on the horse racing meetings that day. All the lyrics came from the names of the horses.”

“The studio engineer heard it and asked ‘is this your Christmas song?’, I said ‘no’ and he said ‘it should be’. So I went to the sound effects library and dug out the sleigh bells and chimes. Although it’s about a horse race, it would be rather novel to hear it sung in church as a Christmas Carol.”

Glitter Kick are a London based glamorous power rock band fronted by Roxi Gregory. Big drums come from the powerhouse of Ivan Panella accompanied on bass by Antony O’Neil with low slung guitars by Greg Paco Radcliffe.
It’s all wrapped in smooth and rasping synths with haunting but distinctive vocals cutting through the barrage of sound.

Roxi and Greg had already written the bulk of the first album and were performing it as a duo with backing tracks. Ant saw them performing and asked if they wanted a bass player. Four months later he was in the band. Ivan came through a recommendation from a friend/ drummer Rick Zsigmond owner of the New Kings Road Vintage Guitars. The band did two rehearsals and three days later they did their first show at The Water Rats Saturday 13 July 2024.

Their debut album Make The Rainbow Sing will hit the streets in 2026 with full supporting dates.
