Daxx & Roxane return with their brand new single ‘Give it Time’, a swaggering earworm that will burrow itself deep into your brain and simply refuse to budge.
‘Give it Time’ is the third single to be taken from the band’s powerful self-titled album ‘Daxx & Roxane’, which pulsates with growth and maturity and was released in May 2020.
In this video, the band played with time and visual effects to give the impression of being in an unnatural world where time isn’t quite right. The lyrics of the song talk about this feeling of not knowing what the other person really means when in a relationship. This ‘relationship game’ is probably something we’ve all played before, and it can be a really difficult one to conquer. Evie Brown’s dance moves are an interpretation of that game.
The video was produced, filmed and edited by Will Hutchinson, who is the genius behind all the latest Daxx & Roxane videos. Since the videos for ‘Good VIbes’ and ‘Lust & Love’ from the band’s first album, the director and the 4 Swiss guys really learned to work together and it works like a charm.
The band is now working on some exciting new material, and their new releases will be announced as soon as it’s ready.
Formed in 2013 in their native land of Switzerland, Daxx & Roxane released their debut E.P, ‘4×4’ to glowing reviews. It spawned the singles ‘Wrong Side’ and ‘Girl Next Door’. Debut album ‘Ticket To Rock’ followed in April of 2017, from which came two singles ‘Ticket To Rock’ and ‘Leaving For Tomorrow’. These, along with ‘Junk Food Hangover’, all spent 10 weeks on the Planet Rock playlists respectively.
Daxx & Roxane have an extensive live experience under their belt, including a support slot for HIM at the Roundhouse, live performance at prestigious festivals such as Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland) and Stone Free Festival
(UK) and tours with Bad Touch (2018) and King Creature and Deever (2019).
