ERB are stokes to have the opportunity to bring you the video premiere for rising blues-rock band Lightning Threads’ latest single Rags & Riches ahead of its release tomorrow (27 March 2026).

Speaking of the video, the band state: “Our vision was to mirror the swing in Rags & Riches through a rock n roll dance: give the jukebox a kick and we’re off! We shot this at Crookes Social Club in Sheffield, working with the incredibly talented Dronfield Vintage Dance and videographers Blake Sherwin and Trent Duval. We really wanted to celebrate the local creatives and community here in Sheffield.”
Rags & Riches is the fourth single to be taken from their forthcoming album Trinkets. The release arrives as the band prepare to embark on a headline tour throughout May.
Forged in Sheffield, Lightning Threads continue to carve their own path through groove-ridden territories, delivering raw riffs, searing guitar solos, and a rock ‘n’ roll spirit that echoes the legends of another era while sounding unmistakably their own. With “Rags & Riches,” the band channel the tension between life’s highs and lows into a powerful anthem brimming with attitude and reflection.
“Rags & Riches reflects on those wicked thoughts that blur the gap between highs and lows. The only certainty is that one day, you won’t be able to take any of this with you,” the band explain.
