Brand new partnership for 2022
The Emerging Rock Bands team are very pleased and proud to announce that we have teamed up with Breaking Bands Festival for the 7th edition of BBFest in 2022. The indoor stage will be renamed The Emerging Rock Bands Stage and we could not be any prouder of this great partnership.
The Breaking Bands Festival team have been working a lot behind the scenes in anticipation of the eagerly awaited return to live music and festivals. The annual team meeting took place last month and a lot of boxes were ticked, a lot of new plans added and a lot of announcements are to follow.
On completing the deal, Festival Director Jay McGuire said, “We love the ethos of what Emerging Rock Bands do. It reminds us of where we started with TBFM Online as a radio station and magazine back in 2009 looking out for the smaller bands, the underground and the grassroots of the music industry. ERB & BBFest go hand in hand with supporting the music scene so this partnership was a perfect match for all involved and we are delighted to be working with a team on the same wavelength as us.”
Speaking to George Hill, Editor-in-Chief at ERB, he said, “We are delighted to be working with Jay and the Breaking Bands team throughout 2022. Breaking Bands sums up exactly what we were trying to do with our initial facebook group and now with ERB Radio and ERB Magazine growing in popularity, we are able to offer so much more to get unsigned, independent and emerging bands noticed. We are so much stronger together so being able to sponsor the indoor stage and highlight this fantastic event in many ways next year is really exciting. We can’t wait to get started. Watch this space!”
Emerging Rock Bands won’t be sitting idle as a stage sponsor. There are many features to come on our radio station, in the magazine and on social media over the next 12 months which we are all very excited about. All those details will follow in due course.
